Anyone ever had an RB26 rebuilt in Melbourne. I know a few places that will do the rebuild but the labor of taking the motor in and out is the hard part. I don't want to touch the bloody thing again and just wondering if anyone knew of any mechanics in Melbourne that were familiar with GT-R's?

Also after a half decent price too.

Rbjet , try Sabbadin motors, tunes and builds killer GTRs.

I've spoken to Rajab before and they wanted about 8 grand to do it. All it needs is a new block and bearings hopefully which I can supply anyway.

I might give Sabbadin motors a ago but they're miles away.

race pace ? try and get the engine strapped together and machined at the same place. less room for f--kups that way.

Race Pace is where I originally got it tuned and I'd most likely go back there but for an engine build they want to do it there way which has a starting price of 10 grand!

I was hoping to get it all done at the same place but as soon as people here RB26 the price jumps through the roof.

Not too many places want to have to do the pulling out of the motor and putting it back in.

Just get a 30 block,, make it a hybrid

If I had the coin I would. But it's not a simple or cheap project. f*ck it would be responsive though. I'd be on full boost at 2000rpm lol.
