Stewth!!!!!!

I go away for 2 days and the place implodes!!!!

My 2c worth - I'm sure CUSPUB (Greg) is enthusiastically representing Nizpro and I have no doubt as to the quality of their products and of the XEDE. I was unable to add anything positive to any other closed thread even if I might have wanted to. I also have no doubt that mudslinging does not provide any real result (except to the popcorn gallery :ta: )

I would like to see both the APS and the Nizpro cars run well this evening and I hope they have a chance to do so given the weather. It is Victoria after all :ta: (I like to get my Queensland slander in there wherever possible :ta: )

I'm sure that more information will be forthcoming as it is appropriate from both parties. ChipTorque has selected Nizpro hardware for it's kits and I expect Nizpro has selected the XEDE for it's kits because of the quality of the product. I am very happy to go head to head with a Motec or a Unichip within the kits that we will sell as I have absolutely no doubt as to the appropriateness of the XEDE for the application or it's abilty to do the WHOLE TASK better than any other units we have seen or tested for the XR6T.

I hope that answers some of it for everyone!!!

Regards

I have to say I greatly appreciate the input from both Peter and Lachlan over the many threads they have contributed to.

They as do many others have clearly shown that they represent suppliers, fitters etc and as such you apply your filters appropriately.

You also give them credibility re talking about their kit.

Neither , however, have spent time picking apart the claims of others.

Even when they have talked about competitors offerings it has been good basic discussion and any negatives have related to fitters/fitting rather than base technology.

I cant see this however with our contributor from Nizpro, many posts picking and questioning without a hint of who he was representing.

If he had at least made comment and included his allegiance in it we would have given it like respect and may have been posting questions re the Nizpro offerings.

Peter

As per Falchoon's comment I am interested in the ways the interceptor can be wired.

I have seen how it is done near the box under the bonnet, but hbehind the dash sounds much more stealth and far more appealing.

Your thoughts please

Likewise, their Stage 11 kit purportedly (well, it's what it says on their web site) "APS delivers a phenomenal 330 kW utilizing a relatively conservative turbo pressure level of 9.5 psi "...wow, isn't that strange given that - and this is an absolute FACT, they run 14 psi!!!!

Who do you believe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:kissmy:

I can say with my UNICHIP running 9.5lb of boost that my T is making 330kW at the engine, I have a few other mods which probably take the car to APS's version of a stage two (including 411cc injectors). I watch the guys at FORMAZ tune the car and I have the dyno sheet, and the proof when I bury it. I also read on another thread someone a little brassed off that APS won't break their kits up, I believe in the end they will have to to remain competitive, in the meantime I know one particular person who couldn't spend another $3000 with them so went elsewhere. As far as the profit in these mods, regardless of who makes them. If you want a specialist product, you pay a specialist price. All of the workshops who have spent $50,000 + on a car and then untold hours doing R&D deserve to recoup their money and make a healthy profit (the nature of business).

All the upgrades seem to have pros and cons, but they all also seem to deliver on their promises. To my way of thinking, regardless of the brand, you either do or you don't!. I did with APS and I'm more than happy. I've got a 330kW car that starts, idles, and drives like stock until you floor it. Then I have a wicked wicked street car and that is what I paid the money for :kissmy:

What genuine rwkw am I going to get with a stage 1 APS kit??

:kissmy: ducatijb.

With just a stage 1 APS and no other mods you should get around 270-kW at the engine 210-220 at the wheels. Just ensure you get a good installer
