hey guys,

when in drive and I pull up next to a car to reverse park..... put it in reverse there is a 3 second delay till it actually goes in reverse and am able to dive the car, is this normal? does anyone know what could be, cheers.

I had a BA ute that was the same....Try tranny service and see how it goes...

usually means the pump in there is getting tired.....

3-8 secs is common. before the rebuild mine wouldnt go in unless I stalled it up...

yeah 3 seconds man, from D put it in R 1.....2....3....donk! that's pretty much how it goes.

we'll see what happens with tranny service on Saturday.

Last car something like that happened in, the transmission was screwed. Hope its not the same for u mate
