Can u guys explain.. This is all new to me..

You could get a single piece carbon tailshaft made up instead of a steel one. Can't imagine how expensive it would be though. Your best bet would be to have a quick look through the forum to see if anyone else has had the problem and maybe ring around and find out who makes custom tail shafts. I'm not sure if Mal Wood does but might be an idea to give them a ring.

Wouldn't it make more sense to just raise it again?

Why keep it low, because it looks "cool?" So is wasting thousands of dollars on repairs.. Its real cool..

Raising it is the obvious solution and the last resort. If I wanted it to look like all the other utes I would have left it higher.

Thanx for the help rbjet I'll look into it..

Get the stock shaft shortened too suit the lowered hieght then you wont smash centre bearings

#9

Carbonart ones look very good, but $$$$$$$

Why don't you just upgrade to Chrome moly tube shaft with upgraded centre bearing? Cost you less than $1k.

#10

Use a B series shaft.
