I was wondering if the members could have a look at the rear suspension on their utes and tell me if your ute sits level? If you look at the actual leaf spring on each side you will see if there is any difference, particulary if you look at the bottom leaf forward of the diff. On my ute the RHS spring is completely down with no gap between the bottom leaf and the next one up, but on the LHS it's a different story there's a gap, therefore making the ute higher on one side than the other. Also could you note the amount of fuel you have in your tank at the time via the DTE as a reference? Because one possible explaination I thought of is the the LHS spring is stiffer to counter the extra weight from the fuel tank and fuel, at the moment the DTE is on 120km so there's not a lot of fuel in the tank, whereas if the tank was full it would sit lower because of the extra weight, in theory. Thanks any help is appreciated Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/7853-hey-you-guys-with-utes/ Share on other sites

I would doubt that FoMoCo would engineer a car that would be lopp sided depending on the amount of fuel in it. Get it checked mate, rear suspension is all important in a ute.
