Should get some great deals on the FG over the next few months with the FG series2 out now. Second hand prices should also drop as the runout of new series 1 continues.

no nothing wrong with the old ba. just wondering if I should work the ba or spend the money on the new fg.

I love my ba, I also like the fg.hard decision.

If you are only after 300 then maybe fg is a better alternative. I am only saying to keep the ba if you want to see high figures.

Why?

The BA is no good unless you plan to

- Build the engine

- Replace the transmission

With the above done will get you a high figure. There is no point doing it for 300.

A BA can do 300 but it's not as safe as doing it with an FG. In the long run you may have spent more on fixing/repacing parts than the cost of the FG.
