08/12/03 08:02 AM08/12/03 08:02 AM #21 Thread Merged.I just went to the fullBOOST.com website to have a look at the results for the weekly street meet at Calder and their were some fast T's racing. The APS/CV XR6T phase 3 recorded a 11.9@117mph using slicks and also did consistent 12.5's with street tyres. Another really fast T was a blue ute but I'm not sure who modified it but it recorded 11.9sec@122mph and also had a terminal speed as high as 126mph. Even the phase 3 kit runs minimal boost and doesnt really have serious modifications and for this reason it wont be long to see T's running 10's over the 1/4. 08/12/03 08:39 AM08/12/03 08:39 AM #22 The APS webiste has more information about the recent results at Friday nights street meet at calder park and the blue ute I had mentioned was an APS ute and the fastest time recorded was 11.63 @121mph with a strong head wind. If you want to read about it just click on the phase 3 link. You can download videos of each run they did. Edited 08/12/03 08:48 AM08/12/03 08:48 AM by Ezy10z
11/12/03 05:08 AM11/12/03 05:08 AM #23 What tyres? what tyres????? What I meant was - are they street tyres or slicks? And now we have the answer.Next question. Was the 12.5 on normal street tyres (eg: SP 9000) or dot 'street' slicks or R-spec type tyres?
11/12/03 06:53 AM11/12/03 06:53 AM #24 Peter,Are you able to confirm if the cars run at Calder were the 390kW development or 375kW marketed Phase III kits? Thanks, Cameron
11/12/03 09:43 PM11/12/03 09:43 PM #25 As posted previously on another thread, the APS PHASE III ute we ran an 11.97 sec 1/4 mile time on street radials (Nittos) and 11.63 sec on M/T grooved tyres - not slicks. The engine made approx 390 kW in Dyno Dynamics Shoot 6 (estimated flywheel power) and 330 kW at the tyres. In any event, the power/car was good for an 11.63 pass.RegardsPeterAPSUnichip - 11.63 sec @ 121.65 mph - and more to come
