Need Help With A Computer Problem

Hey there.

Im in need of some help with a computer I just got. Its a laptop from an old company I used to work for but its still got the network logon on it and I can only log in under my old username and password. Now what I want to do is remove all password protection from it and remove all log ins and any netwrks and what not associated with the old company. So anyone know how to do it? I dont have addministrive privilages to this computer either

From memory its not that hard. I did the wifes laptop a few years ago on the same basis. Cant remember now but it involved going in via safe mode. Google is your friend.

Obtain operating system disk(s) and reformat. Make sure you note your CD key. Easiest way with a good result.

Down a copy and use the password removal tool.

ERD commander boot disk and change any password or user account you need to, not heard of the above, but sounds like it does the same thing. Good luck sorting it, re-install is prolly the longest way to fix the problem but will definately sort it out if you have your key handy.
