For the street 350 in a manual is plenty. Even 325 with the stock fg turbo is quick.

I also reckon that you might want to re think those 19inch dark agents with 245/35's. I've got 17's with 255 semi's on the back with under 300rwkw and I'm always struggling for traction.

IMO for a street car response and grip are more important then huge power. Leave that for the dyno queens.

What's the point of having all that power when it takes an hour to spool up and once it does your just spinning ya wheels.

Agreed. I've got 360 with the standard turbo on an F6 but the smaller turbo xr6/g6e is heaps quicker on the street.

Big power isn't required for what you want.

Would see you go/handle/stop safely all day everyday @ 300-315rwkw. If you choose wisely and can do some work yourself your $9000 should stretch to this and beyond.

9K wont get you far if you want 550kw.

Better off building a whole package as wa g6et has done.

You will need:

Clutch - 2k

Tune - 1k

Xcal - 750

Cooler + piping 2k

Turbo port and actuator 500

injectors 400

6 piston brembos 2k

Suspension 1.5k

There goes your 9k pretty quick, and that's only 320kw, but it would be a mean streeter and quick on the track...

Get a tune and some mild mods. Invest the rest and continue to save, then in a few years you will be able to buy a real performance car and not just a taxi with a turbo strapped on that will give you no end if grief...

Or you could go down to one of many workshops and get one of their 10k packages that should get you very close to that 450 number. There are a number great reputable shops that produce a lot of big HP cars with good packages for under 10k. Just shop around do hours of research and make up your own mind. You will get a 100 different opinions on here which will just confuse you.

I spilled just under 10k into mine and got around 320+ with stock turbo and I think it is too fast for the street as an everyday car. Will spin the wheels at 100kms let alone 60 which most roads around my area are capped at.

I wish I had done the mods list in this order WA G6ET, mine goes like a scalded cat and struggles to stop and go round corners, very wise advice to do it in this order !

But really if you want a quick track car buy an evo or gtr as these things will never even come close around corners.

Like many say I have found the 300rwkw I have to be plenty for the street and I have put the rest of my money into making a good all rounder.

Sure I could get a evo or other but the turbo taxi makes for a great compromise b/w family and weekender. Not many cars out there can load up the wife, 3 kids, gear for a camping weekend, tow a boat and then the next weekend hit the track for a 13sec 1/4 and then cruise to work next. Add pretty good economy(for at big powerful car), cheap repairs(not at the dealer)and even insurance is reasonable.
