hey guys, got a BF MK2 tornado and thinking of going the PW or plaz stage 1 cooler. only chasing low 300kw mark with exhaust, injectors fuel pump and tune. just wondering if this cooler would be a restriction at this level as want to keep everything as close to stock look as possible. any help be greatly appreciated!

That cooler will be fine mate. You could make the power easier with out the stock crossover and better piping but you'll still be able to crack 300 with just that cooler.

It might depend on the exhaust. What is it? Also what actuator?

Should make 300 with no problems then.

I'm going to see if I can get 300 with just a monza and high flow cat.

I wont push it that far if its not safe though. Especially on a BA.

I had 277 with a monza copy and a cheapo cat, plus injectors and f6 intake

edit - did run it with 308rwkw for a while but heatsoak killed it on a hot day

I would consider an actuator at that power. If you decide later that you want to add one you might have to pay for another tune? You may make power easy enough but holding it while coming on and off the gas may be another thing. Mine feels stronger and more consistent with the bigger actuator on. I have run it both ways at just over 300wkw.
