I have a FG F6. Is $500.00 any good for a PWR non stepped intercooler? Its the model that was just recently discontinued and PWR went to the stepped design.

Any comments would be good.

Rumour has it those coolers are absolute rubbish?

Are the stepped ones better?

What I've heard is stepped ones are a huge improvement, and none stepped were no better than stock.

Was there a third one? Because the non stepped ones look bigger and probably would be without the decrease in area at the top.

There's one that's been on eBay for sale for ages (well overpriced).

Hi-Torque Performance tuned a FG ute this week and it went 517rwhp with the PWR stepped cooler. They were impressed with it actually and Kent told me today he felt it had more left in it. It went 517 and 510 back to back in 29 degree ambient.

That's 386rwkw's to those under 70..
