Hey Ben, Ive got a KAAZ 2-way in mine, Its brilliant and quiet. Also If you decide to go with a 2nd hand LSD, I've still got my old one for sale. It's done a bit over 50,000kms.

Regards Mitch

Thanks Mitch,

Good to see your happy with yours. How long have you been running with it?

Ben

I would still suggest you try to drive a car with one fitted so you can make up your own mind, some are happy to accept it, others arn't.

I've been using it for around 5,000kms so far, and the only problem I've had was when it was first put in. The diff shop that fitted it put the wrong grade oil in it to start with.

Got a truetrac in my G6ET fitted with superpro comfort bushes, hasn't been in long(only 200km). Very happy so far, quiet as, most of the drivetrain clunking is now gone. Only get small low thud on very savage acceleration/decceleration.

$2250 fitted truetrac only, bushes are extra depending on which type you prefer.

+1 for the Kazz they can be a bit clunky when bedding in - for a street car they can be set up different as you can tune a kazz to your liking.

really interested to see how you get along Ben, my LSD is showing signs of single pegging more often than not and I dont want to be pushing 400KW+ out of a single pegged rear end. Looking for a TrueTrak now to see what price I can get one for as a mate of mine has said the Kaaz was quite expensive to purchase and the Truetrak is most likely going to be the better option in both performance and price.

1 or 1.5 way kazz centers aren't too clunky, it's when you go 2way lsds

But having said that I'm used to lockers or spools.

Maybe just get a stock 2nd hand diff centre and put some shims in it?
