Hey fellas,

Im looking at getting this https://www.plazmaman.com/shop/index.php?action=item&itemId=175

Looking at roughly 350rwkw range as my car is a BF MK1.

Is this way overkill??

Id just like to keep the inlet temps down but still have a relatively good throttle response.

At a later stage I will be doing the bottom end and up it to 400rwkw+ but it will be a daily driver so I doubt I would push it any further.

Thanks for your input guys

Bought the 1000hp cooler :)

I get a stiffy everytime I look at the thing!

Its suprising how light it is considering how much there is.

Just looking inside the tubes and its pretty easy to see this things going to work awesome.

The guys at Plazmaman are awesome huge thanx to P.J to making it happen so quikly very happy with the finished product now I just need to fit it up tongiht.

Thanks for your input guys :VB Beer:

All fitted. I fitted the top 2 brackets being careful to centre the cooler the best I could then drilled and bolted.

Surely enough I get under the car and the brackets that are welded onto the cooler lined perfectly up with the 2 factory holes in the radiator support all I had to do was tap the existing holes use the bolts that are supplied.

I wish everything else was that easy.

I was very lucky with them. Rang them earlyish friday morning and picked it up later that night.

It just about has everything now for the time being full exhaust, injectors, flapper mod and actuator, fuel pump just have to wait till wednesday for the valve springs and tune at BTA.

With abit of luck it'll end up in the mid 300's then ill be off to the strip to see how it all goes together..cant wait.

It had been tuned before at intune motorsport and made 320rwkw with a 5" cat, monza and injectors he told me it was a 16psi tune..later I bought a boost gauge and it was reading more like 18psi and around 19-20 on a cold night.

That sort of boost level is abit high for a bf mk1 so that's how I ended up here.

I didn't know they did a T/B relocation as well, I thought they still did the wrap around.

I got the t/b relocation thru orangeute338 the whole cold side piping was like 250 plus postage..nice piece of kit too except the part that is hard up against the passenger fog light an I had too modify the parker plug.

I have the rapid hot side too so its abit of a bitsa but that shouldnt matter too much.
