Western area? Most of the roads from toowoomba out west are still sh*t even with all the roadworks going on. The council seems to patch up and move on, but the completed patch is f*&^'d only weeks later. However the road from Miles to Roma is very nice and smooth 110 zones and long straights. Might a bit far to go on a day trip though.
