A guy at a Magna dealership prewarned me about this a few months ago but someone had the good sense to write the one that we were trialling off !!

Seems to be a habit of ACT cops, a couple of years or so ago an Ovlov was written off too!

The new Magna is an ugly bas*ard, but that press photo taken looking down takes it to a new level of crapness. How did a car that ugly get designed and APPROVED for release in todays Aussie car market? Tom Phillips has got a lot of things right lately, but he must be disappointed he has to make that!!

There was a time when I had a certain degree od sympathy for Mitsu. The do make a lot of OK vehicles and many of the later Magna's had quite good road manners and the V6 is an excellent engine.

By all reports, the AWD Magna is quite a respectable tourer. Certainly no WRX but then It's not supposed to be.

Then.........They go and stick that gawd awful front on the thing. Back to square one I'm afraid............

I hate them as well.......They should call it the Focna or Magnus.

(Not slagging off at the Ford Focus as they can be a fat little car)!! But hello, lets slap a really ugly front end on the same car we have had for the past 3 models?!?! :o

And the logo on the front? What gives? They really made this car for the visually impaired didn't they.

As a matter of fact, the AWDinary looking Magna will only be used by General Duties Police and if they drive it like they drive the Fors and Holdens......then I don't think it will last to 60,000.
