I was wondering if any one with a Fg 6 speed have had vibration through the car while at idle or in reverse. I have contated ford about the problem and there excuse is they fix the fault if anyone has had this problem how did you get it resolved.

You talking about the crap idle quality?

Lots of people have that, also try turning the climate off, some times the a/c cycles frequently and makes the car feel rough

I've found that it runs a bit rough when I use anything but 98RON. On 98 it's great. I use Ultimate.

#5

I never use anything else but BP Ultimate. Always.

Yes I am talking about the sh*t idle problem even with the aircon off it's still pretty bad. I only use BP ulitmae 98 in my g6e I think the problem is with the transmission but ford cant fault the problem. They have told me they cant fix teh problem. But what I have found is if you rev up to 1000 rpm in drive with the brake on you can hear a slight knocking sound. The car is going back to the dealership Friday to get it looked at. I am sick of this car and they annoying vibration my EL is smoother then this car I will keep you posted of the outcome
