Rattling Noise In Fg Turbo Dash Area Any Help Would Be Great!

Hi all,

new to this forum so aplogies if I have posted in the incorrect area. I have noticed a rattling/vibrating noise somewhere in the front dash area of my 2010 XR6T. Happens on a rough roads, over slight bumps and even sometimes on a seeminly smooth road. No matter how hard I try and can't identify where its coming from, my first thought was the rear view mirror was loose but it doesnt look like it. If you guys could please let me know if you have noticed it in yours and what you think it might be.

The clusters have some movement in them and they rattle abit. There is also a thin piece of plastic behind the clusters that rattles a bit as well.

It's a ford . Mine had one and they attempted to fix it under warranty but no good. It might fix itself mate

Yeah I got a pain in the arse one somewhere over the front passenger side, is this a warranty thing?

Any rattle should be fixed under warranty

Mine turned out to be the glovebox lid. Got my wife to hold it while in motion and it stopped. Don't know how to fix it though.

yeh I always hear rattles from the inside of the side doors cruising 80+km/h, sounds like wires tapping against metal, annoying, have to put the beats up to fk it off

Get in there quick boys with your rattle warranty claims....!!!! FORD will only warrant "rattles" to 3000kms!

Found out the hard way. Its also mentioned in your booklet.
