Bonjaz Donating Members 1,841 Member For: 16y 5m 15d Gender: Male Location: CQ Posted 04/05/11 07:54 AM Share Posted 04/05/11 07:54 AM my bf felt like it was surging so I took out the intank pump and found that one of the intank lines had split, fine for everyday driving but as soon as foot went down didnt matter if that tank was full it surged for obvious reasons, being a sedan it was a 20min job to look at the intank pump,but a ute is a whole different story you have to take the tray off to get access to the top of the fuel tank. that's in a ba/bf I dont know too much about fg's sorry But if your ute isnt using excessive amounts of fuel eg. a leak, then it might be worth a look in the tank... just my experiances I am no mechanic Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/74619-surging/#findComment-1102783 Share on other sites More sharing options...
