ofcoarse I wouldnt jack from the middle of the diff, I would jack from under the leaf spring mounts on the axel, therefor the load is still going through the normal route. load goes; wheel, half shaft, wheel bearing, hub, axelhousing, leaf springs then car.

just wondering, is the talk of bending axels, is it the axel shafts or axel housing that we're talking about?

Balancing the tailsharft can help in many ways smoother drive and less strain on driveline

have done 400 kms in mine now and every time I come to a stop there is a squeak coming from the rear, possibly the brakes. Told Ford about this and they said it is bedding in and will go away but it hasn't.

Also when I start up first thing in the morning there is a whirr for a second or so that sounds like something is dry of oil. Does anyone else have this issue or have any idea what it is ?
