Bf Xr6T Ute

Just wondering if anyone else has lowered a BF XR6T ute on here and which is the best way to do it, im thinking king springs in the front, but not sure whether to put lowering blocks in the rear then also install air bags to compensate when I put weight in or if I should just get the springs reset which means having them out of the car while getting done so I cannot get to and from work.. any help would be much appreciated..

Ive got kings up front and reset rears, looked at blocks and decided not to after seeing the spacing between the rim and the shock mount (sits just inside the rim).

I didnt want to lower mine too much, Just wanted it sitting level. So I used 1inch lowering blocks, Heaps of room inside the rim on an 18inch wheel and I bet there would be room on a 17inch wheel.

I have lowered my BA XRT ute, Pedders Sports Ryder up front and reset rear leafs, the backs pretty low and the front sits good too, I will post some pics later today, but I would recommend resetting the leafs over lowering blocks. how low do you want the rear?

Mine has the king KF-57SSL up front which turned out to be a 40mm drop, and the rear was reset by about 60 making it level. In saying this I was really only after 30mm up front and 30mm at back to keep the nose down stance it once had, of course it sits very level now unloaded.

I carry dirtbikes and all kinds of crap on the back of mine and this is the limit to lowering it for me, it occasionally drags on some stuff when off road so yea.

Just make sure you get right springs, although my ute is a bf2 it still has bf1 front suspension setup due to build date.

So mine is a 07 build Craig Lowndes BF2, how can you find out which springs it should or shouldnt have?

the springs I sussed for the front are a 38mm drop so was thinking maybe a 2" drop at the rear to level it out.. not too sure, and other thing is how low can you go with without insurance being voided?
