  1. HI guys looking for some help. Just got a set of 20 x 8 Dark argents. was hoping to run a 245/35/20 up front but it doesnt fit. do I have to go back to a 245/30/20 or can ya get away with like a 225/35/20? Also if I was to put 20 x 10 on the rear will it fit and what size tyre? reason I ask is because I want as much sidewall as possible as I travel through the hills and the roads are pretty sh*t. Cheers Jase!
  2. Hey guys ive got a BF2 xr6T ute. its too low at the rear. I need to find out the standard rear ride height so I can work out how much to raise if. if anyone can help me out please inbox me. Cheers Jase!!
  3. Just wondering if there is any reason that I cannot install a 7 or 8'' head unit down where the cigrette light is (infront of gear stick) and obviously draw power with ignition etc but run speaker wires out to an amp with a sub but using a 4 channel amp so I can run to the current AUXilary in my ute so in theory my original stereo will be amplified and playing through std aux function but using the new head unit/dvd player.. I dont see why this wont work but seems too simple..? any help would be greatly appreciated

  6. Cheers guys, ford have deciced they'll replace all the studs and nuts for me, (hope they dont think im paying) haha but ill make some tabs up for it and bang them on.. cheers
  7. I am having the same problem as we speak.. I argued with ford about the piss poor fact that 2 studs had fallen out and top 2 nuts were loose.. They fixed the problem.. and I argued over the cost and got the labour bill cut in half.. only months later (NOW) I can hear the leak again and know the nuts are loose.. Booked into ford to be re-tightened or whatever is needed on monday and I have told them I will not be paying for their work.. and if it comes loose again before the due service it will be being returned again.. Also I am after a manifold that will eliminate this problem.. if anyone knows please share your information!
  8. SOO, I bought some lovells front springs off a guy on here, he has them in a bf mk2 xr6 turbo ute which is plated june/2007, mine is a bf mk2 xr6 turbo ute which is plated dec/07, on the lovells part list these springs are the part number to suit a BA or BF mk1 Xr6 or xr6T ute, yet they fitted also into the june plated BF Mk2 ute, lowering it ofcourse which is what I am trying to achieve, I have put these springs into my ute Dec/07 as seeming the fitted in the earlier one they should fit mine but do not, instead it has raised my ute?? can someone please explain why this would be? Cheers Jase
  9. Cheers Guys thanks heaps for your help
  10. So mine is a 07 build Craig Lowndes BF2, how can you find out which springs it should or shouldnt have? @TurboUte the springs I sussed for the front are a 38mm drop so was thinking maybe a 2" drop at the rear to level it out.. not too sure, and other thing is how low can you go with without insurance being voided?
  11. Cheers, that looks tough! what kings did u put up front and how much did u lower the rear. I got 19's on mine so should look schweeeet!
  12. Also chasing up any 2nd hand mod parts if anyone knows of any, dump pipe, intercooler etc..
  13. Just wondering if anyone else has lowered a BF XR6T ute on here and which is the best way to do it, im thinking king springs in the front, but not sure whether to put lowering blocks in the rear then also install air bags to compensate when I put weight in or if I should just get the springs reset which means having them out of the car while getting done so I cannot get to and from work.. any help would be much appreciated.. Cheers Jase
