Just got back from Melbourne where I picked up my new toy, it's a 1969 Capri mods include a 6 point cage, mini tubbed, and narrowed 9 inch diff. It needs to be painted but I will be running my engine and gearbox combo out of my car. I was making 340kw@w in my falcon thru a full house C4 and 3500 stall only changes I will make will be E85 fuel so hopefully get close to 400kw@w in a car that will weight 1200kg! JETFPV Legacy Donating Member 672 Member For: 18y 10m 15d Gender: Male Posted 01/01/11 03:39 AM Posted 01/01/11 03:39 AM (edited) Sorry to hear about the car crash, old school car with new school driveline seem's to be the flavour of the month, I am doing exact same conversion but Atomic 998GT-R race engine into my old sh*tter Capri...Chasing about 600+rwkw on E85It's going under the knife shortly and will be engineered for everything and full street rego, minitub's, bigger 15x10 rear convo's with 325/50/15's, new pro9 9inch with full floater's, moly cage and of course the Atomic engine, im at a bridge as to which tran's I will be using, my protrans glide or YRT483MT which I also have, if you wondering what it is it is a full manual reverse pattern transbraked 4spd auto which is a top bit of kit...Picture of my old dunger, this is before surgery shot....
