hey guys, Ever since I got my car tunned from gentech and alot of mods in my stock ba 2004 4spd auto. stock 200rwkw now 300rwkw. very nice car. but as soon as I drove it off their lot about 12months ago..

I noticed when u floor it and change gears it sorta snapped ing ears made a very very very small cluncking noise.

Now these days every time it changes gears cluncking noise?

I have no idea wtf it is... mabi diff or something :( hope its not the gear box :(

Also when I drove it today, If your sitting still in N or P or R

Then change to D.. the hole bonnet shutters... like wtf is the go with that?? If u change to D and drive it does not shutter. but if u change it to D and keep the brake on so u stand still it shutters :(

any ideas?

broken engine mount??

Engine mount? Pop the bonnet, put it in drive and stall it up a bit. If the mounts cactus the motor will seem like its gonna fold out over mudguard.

Atleast eliminate that.

engine mount for the shaking... not the gear box snapping? lol

I would get underneath the thing and have a look at all you mounts to start with. Make sure every things tight just to rule that out.

Good morning, as said in other posts I would start to look at the engine mounts which do fail after time.

SO I gave my car to a mate for 4 weeks, just got it back took it for a strap I missed her :(

Anyway. that clanking, is worse. and when u put your foot down, It feels like the turbo holds onto the boost for a bit longer??

And then when your flogging it, and stop flogging it like clanks for the gear change, then clanks again 1 second afte.r...

my car is f*cked :(

What about your diff bush? they flog out alot. Does it clunk when backing off ect?
