Car Shaking/Vibrating

Featured Replies

#1

I have recently started having a problem where at times at high or low speeds my cars' steering will shake violently sending vibrations throughout my whole car. It mainly happens at high speeds 110kph on the motorway and lasts for approximately 1 or 2mins and slowly disappears. It sometimes happens at low speed but more often at high speeds and doesnt happen everyday. Now while this happens ive tried slowly down and it becomes a little scary vibrating alot more, but when I speed up nothing really changes. Ive told my mechanic about this and he seems to think that the tailshaft is out of balance but hes not to sure because it never happens when he takes it for a drive.

Any help would be great guys

what part lol? I have noticed a few clunking sounds from the rear end going up driveways and what not.

Is it still the stock shocks? They usually die after a while when people put king springs on.

For the vibration I would be looking into wheel bearings mate, we've seen alot of them give the same symptoms on and off.
