Riki what were your findings with the hdi

2 tuners have told me they are rubbish and I'm better off with the stock fg cooler and just a pipe kit, I already have a hdi kit sitting in the garage but after looking at the instructions it looks like much irreversible cutting needs to be done.... Now I'm not sure what to do!

Did you have any issues with pressure drop? I'm told contrary to hdi's claims that there is significant pressure drop etc.... And I should get another cooler... I can't really afford another cooler but I could dig up the cash for the pipe kit, whadda ya reckon?

yeah mate I found looking at the HDI cooler you have to trim the original cooler mounts off at the top so if you return to stock at some time it will make fitting the original cooler a fair bit harder so that's why I got the process west cooler because it uses original mounts.. pretty sure you have to cut the mounts off as I have seen a few pics of the HDI coolers and they were all missing so this gives you another thing to think about mate.. cheers

there is nothing wrong with the HDI coolers, they work very well and are great bang for buck.. we have made over 420rwkw no problems at all using them, even there BA/BF kit works great for the $$

How much intake temp rise through out the dyno run and what psi?
