I still can't get that feeling of acceleration out of my mind after that drive in your car at MT's. I hop in mine now, and feel very lethargic! Still haven't sold the Supra. :( dohh! Does anyone have any hard stats on 0 - 100 km/h sprint and 1/4 mile times for the Turbo ute in Manual and Auto?I have heard that they are faster than the sedan thanks to the rear suspension. The only official (if that's what you can call it) was from a Ford dealer that quoted 0 - 100 at 5.6secs?No one seems to have reviewed the ute so I am finding it hard to get any details. Thanks in Advance. :DNo the ute is actually slower standard. Motor magazine reviewed the auto and they've got times stating 14.6sec 1/4mile. I put APS Phase I in and managed a 14.2sec pass which is about the same as the manual sedan does standard. Now got phase II and hoping to get into 12s Edited 08/03/04 03:32 AM by trbo 6 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/7050-turbo-ute-0-100-and-14-mile-times/page/3/#findComment-98697 Share on other sites
Cypher Member 68 Member For: 21y 8m 11d Posted 08/03/04 10:05 AM Author Share Posted 08/03/04 10:05 AM Interest that.Current wheels quotes the XR6 Auto sedan at 1,772kg as they weighted it with full tank of fuel. So that would be approx 1,700kg with no fuel??Auto ute will be approx (1,755 + 45) = 1,800kg no fuelSo there should be approx 100kg more in the ute. But what would happen if you take the rear tray off? It apparently comes in at 250kg? So one will know this.Has anyone driven the car without the rear tray?? Does it make a big difference? Traction issues? Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/7050-turbo-ute-0-100-and-14-mile-times/page/3/#findComment-98883 Share on other sites
