Can anybody recommend what's the best road track tyres to use on track days,I am drivIng a F6 and have just shredded my tyres after four outings, I feel the f6 needs bigger boots on it to keep the traction and power on the bitumen, if any one has had similar experience let me know .will 265's fit on the rear of the 19 inch rims?

Is it only rears??? Or front and back???

If you want decent traction, you need soft rubber... If you have soft rubber, you'll never get any life out of them!!!

Maybe buy some track rims? 18x9's... And fit 265 front and rear... Kuhmo ku36???

Pretty sure BA XR wheels will not fit over the Brembos you have. There are two options you can go for either a set of semi's you can drive around on and use at the track or have another set of wheels for track work only. If you go for the first option then KU36's are great but come in only number of 19 inch sizes that don't suit the Falcon. If you 18's then all good. I've heard they are ok at the track but not the best. If you go the second option then a seperate set of wheels preferrably 18 inch will allow for many different options for tyres. I'd probably go for a set of Toyo R888's.

Tried the Ba rims on today and they did fit with plenty of clearence,so I think the second option is going to be the way to go.Toyo tyres keep getting mentioned so I'll look into them. It's a pitty theres not much in 19's do you know of any which would suit or is it going to be to pricey.
