Moral of the story is if you're young, vehicle with a high claims history & in a dodgy postcode then you'll get raped.

So I spose you'll be moving to that dodgey postcode asap eh?

I'm 26, just added my mods to my insurance with AAMI which added $3 a month to the premium which they waived.

Earlier on when I renewed, I upped my excess from 650 to 950 I think, dropped 80-odd bucks off the cost. Agreed value 27000ish. I live in semi rural area (perth hills).

They won't replace the intercooler/injectors/intank pump if they get destroyed, intstead they offered to increase agreed value for the mods. They are covering the air filter and full exhaust though.

Will try Shannons next renewal too as they almost covered me 2 years ago but I didn't have turbo driving experience.

Oh and I have 1 windscreen free a year which I've used recently, damn trucks putting chips in the car!!

Shannons also covers parts and tools in your garage for up to $20,000. If you've got a few bits and pieces lying around, it's piece of mind.

Gay Spec? No idea.

As for G6ET read the rest of the post drongo, sh*tloads cheaper because they are all owned by sophisticated and refined individuals. All the bogans crashing their T's makes them a higher risk to insure.

Yeah sorry I usually just skim over them...

Still not worth the humiliation just to save a few bob though.
