Just wondering if anyone has beefed up their tailshaft? Wondering what has been beefed up on it, how much it cost and their opinions of the tailshaft upgrade. Cheers Judd

Hi Judd,

Im off to get mine done next week. I will be getting it done through Hardy Spicer in Brisbane but I believe they have an office in all states.

Budgeting under $1000 to have a chromemoly shaft made.

Have also dealt with Hardy Spicer locally and have been told they can make stronger chrome moly shafts but also fit larger cv's and unis but cost could gfet close to $2500

Getting mine made shortly using 'Strange' billet yokes in 3" hightensile seamless tube, converted to solid X 1350 uni joints and slip yoke.

2 piece shaft (ZF) to upgraded centre bearing, didgitally ballanced and fitted for $1500... only trouble is they need the car for 2 days to make it from scratch.

Also was told OK to 1200 HP
