just wondering if any one on here has removed a steering wheel with the airbag still attached as im removing some parts of my wrecked typhoon to put on the tornado. any tips or pics would be good thanks

yep with static electricity.

There should be two phillips head screws on either side of the wheel towards the steering column. The bag/horn should just lift off once loosened then you will be able to see the centre bolt

hey f-wolf, I guess you don't have to remove the clock spring/multi switch assembly? if we are just replacing the steering wheel,-is that correct?

Need to use some elbox grease mate... Its pretty hard to pull off, stuck on pretty tight.

I would leave the centre bolt loosely threaded, otherwise if you pull too hard and there is nothing to stop it coming off, its gonna leave you with a broken nose!
