I only did it for looks but I'm happy. I can't tell the difference performance wise.

Your car is the best looking one I've seen mate. If they were going to make them factory - that's how it would look.

CES went to a lot of trouble on a customers car to try and get it to flow as well as their 3.5" single. This included muffler swaps, different tube diameters, etc. Their preference was actually to make a 'fake one' done in a way so nobody would really notice (unless under the car) so the owner would get the required look and the best flow possible. However, the owner wanted it to work so they made it up. They have done back to back dyno comparisons (they have their own) and a quad system loses 12rwkw minimum over a 3.5" single. Still an improvement over the stock zorst but it actually costs you more (to do a quad) over their awesome system, to lose horsepower  . I get why people like the look and how it balances the appearance of the rear but too bigger price IMO -especially if you're planning to mod.

The guys at CES know their sh*t. There's a guy there with a Mazda MPS like I had- I pinched heaps of ideas from him lol.

I wouldn't do a fake tip as over time one will discolour and look retarded.

-My mods get fitted in a few weeks. I'll let people know how annoying the exhaust becomes.

Only looks retarded :pleasantry: once discoloured.... ok then :buttonit: Mate you car is a class act - we're all allowed one screw up, lol. Just make this your only one - he he, my bad!

Bomber promise - no more bagging quads, everybody gets it already!

I'm sure the tune will go well and all said, if everybody went the same look it would be pretty damn boring mate :spoton:

Hey Bomber, you sound like a sales rep for CES, a bigger Dump, Cat, and Centre Muffler fcuks the 12kw theory completely. What you should be saying is that a 3.5 inch system might, depending on the vehicle, give a standard car 12kw more if fitted to a standard system than what a rear Quad system will. A quad system on a standard car will not rob 12 kw, and you can lose 12 kw on a hot day due to temperature and air quality. At the end of the day it all comes down to personal preference. I put them on mine for looks and picked up 4rwkw on the same dyno, and in my opinion any BA BF or FG looks a lot better with the rear balanced by Quads.

Hi,

I have a 12/2007 BF MKII 6T...given the build date it has the silver inserts on the spoilers...I like

the appearance BUT it only supports a single exhaust...what options do I have to maintain the current

"stock" look that supports the twin exhaust setup...I guess I could always use a hacksaw... :stupid:

Any advice on my options...cost...and business in Adelaide that can make the modification would be very

appreciated...thanks... :nukem:

Mate I'd happily sell you my quad set up as I want to return to single only as where I'm going with my power it will hold me back. Though not sure if the FG quad is the same set up as the BF!

lol, would love to be rep for them mate, then I'd have one of their systems. I don't think you got the comparison mate. Nothing to do with air, heat soak, etc. Same dump and cat used. The difference was purely quads vs single. Everybody knows they rob power over a single - thems the facts. If you fit them it's purely from a cosmetic point of view - the performance argument is pointless.
