hey guys I know im digging up a thread almost a year old but ive just myself a ba ute with a 40-94 on it and all the supporting mods but with a 2 speed glide.

nizpro said the cooler is letting it down and could go with a 4" exhaust rather than 3.5" but I only ran up 326 @ 20psi........ do you thing the front mount and exhaust could be choking it that much??

3.5inch exhaust arnt too bad to support over 400, and also you cant compare power outputs to other guys running 4 speeds or 6speed autos as the glide and C series trans would have a much lower reading on the dyno.

Hey mate I have a 4094 with the small .85 rear housing it made 420something rwkw through a C4 and 3500rpm convertor, have upgraded to a larger 1.06 housing but isnt tuned yet it should see 450rwkws @22-24 psi and close to 500rwkws on E85 @ 26-28psi, sounds like there is another issue with your car, what size cat and dump pipe are you using? Are you using a Nizpro cooler should be good for 500rwkws.....

it can be all in the convertor aswell,since getting my convertor fixed mine makes 385+ day in day out and that's with a slightly modded turbo!!

I run the nizpro cooler 4" dump and 3.5" exhaust so those parts arent of concern!

sounds like it could be converter or cooler.....

its got a full aps system 4" dump 3.5" the rest of the way.......

what cooler is recomended without breaking the budget like the nizpro would at roughly 2 grand? I only need core a all the piping is 3 inch

What about conrods n Crap iv almost got the same setup on mine few more custom bits but my mechanic only suggested running 16 pound to save my rods.. how do they hold up under boost?

its a 'built' motor xrated, so the rods and possibly pistons and oil pump are beefed up.
