hello guys, im asking for your opinions on a gear box

im after the usual dreamlist

strong strong gear box that will last down the track, but not b to much of a pig on the road

my car puts out 550hp but we will b takeing it past there hopefully to 700hp

from what very little research I have done these guys seem to b very good at what they do... Abruzzi Racing Transmissions

any 1 heard of them or had any experience with them or perhaps know sum 1?

I would recommend the powerglide mate!!!

with the amount of torque that you would be pushing, you could leave it in 2nd gear and it wouldnt be terribly dopey down low.

not the cheapest of conversions but well worth it!!!

hit dalts up and he might take you for a drive to see how the glide goes in his car.

Jatco Re4, built by GZM automotive, 3 speed with overdrive

dat_40l has done the Jatco conversion, hes making a bit less power than 700hp I think, but from what he told me the car has been copping a fair bit of abuse and had no problems with it, only down side is the cost approx $10000 drive in drive out.

Seeing's the ZF @ ~$20k and probably a couple of months to fit is the only other real option without resorting to a decades old sub 1:1 gear lacking 3 speed.....$10k is good.
