The idea with the HIRO gauges is to encourage people to custom design what they want on their gauge. I for obvious reasons wanted "HIRO" on my gauge face.

It really comes down to if you want the same gauge as everyone else or if you want the face to look the way you want it to.

Then there's the subject on supporting your forum sponsors, but that's another thread. :turboboink:

I used autometer gauges. they come with the appropriate senders.

if you put an exhaust gas temp gauge you will need to get the sender placed into the exhaust somewhere.

boost is easy enough to tee into the BOV vacuum line.

wiring is cheap, I put mine into a black flexible conduit to make it look nicer.

my oil temp gauge is playing up at the moment, it now only works when you give it some throttle, gotta check it out.

I got the HIRO gauges.. Nice gauges and more then happy with the quality. But, they are over twice the price of the Autometers so surely you would have to consider that...

I also got the EGT and mounted the probe before the Turbo.. it gets hot in there :)

Yes becker your exactly right..

HOWEVER

I am a bit peeved off to say this (although I do really like hiro gauges) that from now I can only get hiro gauges. Ozegauge will not sell to someone in NZ...gotta be in Aust due to warrantee issues. Why am I peeved off you ask? because im half dutch and dont like spending alot lol

Iv got the Pole Position (X Force) gauges... Not a bad item for the price.

If I had my time again though, Id definately be buying the Autometer Cobalt full sweep gauges.

Gotta say they match our interior lighting the best.
