I have basicly same mods with 60 lb's deka's making 345wkw's and with a 3000 histall which is apparently taking about 30 rwkw's off power figure on dyno, must be something limiting it, ask your tuner!!

"I cant agree more... I spent $3200 on exhaust system and $3200 on plenum battery and cai... plus labor to fit and tune it twice.. cant say how disappointed I am with spending close to $10k for 5kw :( "

I sorta know how u feel, I got a 5inch cat installed aswell as 12psi actuator and flapper mod done (close to $1500) and didnt even gain 1rwkw.

There must be something holding you back, also you paid quite abit for your exhaust dont you think?

If you get a set of 60lb injectors and a new tune I'd be expecting you to creep up on 330rwkw with a safe tune.

What was the boost difference though. Im betting you wouldnt have made the same power on the same boost figure after a nizpro kit was fitted. The injectors are way past there limits at 300kw.

Hey Mate,

Just out of interest, did you replace the cat? or did you just do the 4" dump and exhaust? there could be a restriction there if you didn't replace the cat.

and 60lb injectors are definitely the way to go.

Best of luck with it.

Hey guys,

Yea it went from 15psi to 13psi so I was expecting a drop there. Also there is a 5" high flow cat installed on the car at the moment exhaust is more then enough for what I need :) yea the injectors definatly need replacing next thing on the list :D

Mate, your tuner should have told you that the injectors had to be larger, so you could get maximum power out of your engine. I would :surrenderwave:

Mate, your tuner should have told you that the injectors had to be larger, so you could get maximum power out of your engine. I woIve actually gone back and had a look at the receipts from when I had the injectors installed and it says " 400rwkw injectors ". they are little green ones so I assumed 42lb but they mustnt be? the tuner I have im actually really happy with, I have since contacted them asking why so little power and they are looking into it for me to see what they can do :)
