Bloody splash guard from the rear wheel arch came away from the rivit the other day.

The rivit spinns but does not come out.

Not the best design.

Looks like the only way to get the rivet out is to take the side skirt off. :biggrin:

Rob, just get some longnose plyers and pull the thing out.

You can buy new ones from Fraud for $2 each.

Hold it with a set of vice grips, Multi grips or similar. While drilling..... Obviously holding the rear part of the rivet... :blush:

Cant do that either as you cant get to the back of the rivet. I was just hoping there was a quick fix/tool.

What sh!ts me is that they uses the plastic screws everywhere else but not here

Use a small amount of hot glue on the side to stick the outer rim to the body, then drill it out. The hot glue will remove from the body work with a hairdryier. Just make sure you clean everything with a bit of metho before you try and glue it.
