Are the FG designed to bring power in earlier because of the smaller turbo?

The develop them for the NA petrol version, the other engines are stuck with whatever they choose for that. They might just alter the VCT advance/retard.I couldn't tell you what they changed, but the cam specs are altered for better economy, emmisions etc, and probably altered on FG to suit the new plastic manifold.
