Whats the difference between the PCV and the other one? I just want to filter it before it goes back into the intake. JGP Donating Members 309 Member For: 14y 10m Gender: Male Posted 01/02/12 09:54 AM Share Posted 01/02/12 09:54 AM just picked up a black calibre branded one from supercheap-$69. it comes with a clear hose, I know this one needs replacing with a more robust hose, any other hoses required for the install that I should get??cheers Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/65465-oil-catch-cans/page/7/#findComment-1189477 Share on other sites

Both rocker cover breathers go to the vented catch can.So anyway after a spirited drive tonight I could smell oil at one stage pulled over immediately and found that the catch can had overfilled with oil and abit came out of the filter. Is this fairly common? The car has 155xxxkms on it with most of its life over 300kw. Might have to just empty, go for a quick thrash and check.Still wondering though if anyone else has heard of a full oil catch can on a non built motor.... blow-by??
