Reverse Sensors

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone can help, I have had a new rear bar put into my car but the reverse sensors weren't replaced which I dont mind but the issue is when in reverse I get a constant beep.

Just wondering if there is a fuse that I can remove in order to stop the beep.

Have a quick read of your owners manual, I think you can use the stero volume control when the car is turned off to adjust the sound - just turn it right down.

Hmm interesting will have a look when I get the chance, I thought it would be a fuse that I can pull out.

In mine, I can adjust the volume. It's a setting in the menu. Look around in the menu and you'll find it

Whats the setting? I can't find anything in the menu.

Does anyone have an answer for this as I have looked everywhere, read the manual etc but cannot find anyway to shut the constant beep. Is there a fuse or anything like that I need to remove.

What model is your car? If FG there's an option to adjust the volume (but not off), but your best bet would be getting it removed if it's not hooked up.

It's a BF and I have looked but can't find any option to put the volume down...

Or seek retribution on the beeper itself....pretty useless those reverse sensor options even when they do work as designed. Better off without all that cr*p.

But not as bad as the early nineties 626/TX5's that would beep/chime UNENDINGLY if the driver's side door was open ie if you were sitting somewhere just listening to the radio. Revenge is sweet.

If nobody knows how to shut these sensors up, where is the unit so that I can rip it out? Its sending me nuts...
