You do realise Ken, that you need a license to have a dog but the lumpen proletariat are allowed to procreate and are financially rewarded!

Lumpen Proletariat is a Marxist term that describes the class of people that contribute absolutely nothing! This is why Communism/Socialism can never work because the meritorious cannot continually be penalised (by way of tax etc) for their hard work and effort!

I get very cranky because I know the hours I put in, the amount of money I earn and the outrageous amount of tax that I pay. Sometimes it is almost not worth it but pride gets in the way!

Plonky : You seem to be confusing socialism with communisim here, once again.

You say you despise the "Little L's" but im sure at one time or another you have been thankful for it.Either through a benefit to yourself or a family member or a friend or...

You hate public healthcare, obviously. So do you throw back your 30% government rebate because that's part of your taxes and everybody elses'?

And education? You have a family? They may go to Private schools but their teachers were most probably trained in the (what was) Public University system or do you hand select the facists that come through your little narrow minded gates, make sure they Aryan enough for you?

I laugh, you actually think that Welfare is a financial reward?Hah, you silly little man!It is quite the opposite, for example I am on $200 a fortnight, of which $140/fn goes on fuel. If I was lucky enough to find even part time work around here, (states highest unemployment for youth), I would actually be receiving even less than $100 a week because of the Taxes and Crappy Award Wage vs Welfare docking conundrum.

And before you accuse me of being a dole-bludging, surfie bum, pot smoking, beer swilling, ill educated, degenerate prole I will just inform you that I am starting my own business up because I HATE being on the dole and Sanctimoniuos,Holier than thou, condescending people sit high on their mount that tell me that im the same as a Nimbin Junkie because I happen to be on welfare make it even worse.

END RANT

I went away last night and had a little think about my rant in this thread and now I've just read your reply to Plonky, XFwannaBA.

I can't speak for Plonky, but I suspect we think alike on this ... I'm very careful and aware of the fact that there are people like you who are genuinely doing the right thing, no matter that you are receiving benefits, at least your head seems to be in the right place.

My beef is with the few no-hopers out there (and I've seen and met them) that expect a pay every fortnight and expect to spend the rest of their lives living off my taxes.

I work very hard, as I suspect most of us (including you) do and I just don't understand why my next week's taxes are going to pay for some dickhead's smokes, pizza, drugs and beer?

All in all an interesting read,

I think if you feel his way about welfare, it's probably working well. in 10 years when you're independently wealthy because the sactinoniuos so and so's motivated you to start your buisness (so you could prove them all wrong) take 5mins while enjoying a beer and remember that it was these people who gave you motivation to start. It may not be what you want to hear, but the same w@nkers your talking about motivated me in exactly the same way. I got a dead end job for three years so I could go to Uni, and have never been out of work since. Good luck and I honestly wish you all the best with your buisness

XF Wannabe.

Firstly I want to apologise to you if you found my beliefs offensive. I have no desire to offend you. I admire your tenacity and desire to be in a better position than you find yourself in at the moment.

I stand by my beliefs, and stand by my education in Public Policy and Politics.

I also stand by my desire to be better than I could be if I was unmotivated. I had the opportunity (after my bike accident) to sue the butt off State Forests for over a milliion. I elected not to because I just wanted to be able to walk again, go back to work on full operational duties and realised that one way or another money like that has to come from somewhere (another taxpayer)

The main thing is I could sue for lots of money but I would just dwell on my injuries and probably never make the type of recovery that I have (it would have been worth more to me to stay in a wheelchair)

I am constantly reminded that my hard earned tax dollar is being frittered away to a body of people that don't have any desire to imporve themselves and are part of a generation (thanks to Whitlam the Destroyer) that will never amount to anything.

It offends me because I could have been one of them as well if I didn't have the desire, arrogance and self belief that I could overcome serious near fatal injuries.

I hope things go well for you......you may end up employing me one day!

I apologise all who suffered in my rant, but im sure some people know that when you get fired up, nothing but a good ol' spleen venting is going to help.

Thank you all for your support, and yes I suppose it's right that Im only on the dole to get off it if that makes sense?Well actually its this site see because I want a XR6T (at least) and I like Cash, so I need to save quite hard...

I admire anybody who's up for a good political rant and rave too...No such thing as politics without there being two sides.

Thank god plonky that you did decide to Get up and do something,I feel FAR safer knowing that somebody committed to their job as you and that has a Very Fast Car, Very Big Gun and is trained to use both properly....

Anyway I may even employ you in the name of the state, if some little so and so nicks something I'll need you to beat him up goooood, apparently parents frown if un-uniformed people do it!

PS:I may be a leftie socialist but Im no supporter of the Carr "Labor" Government wither!

SEX....SEX.....SEX!!!........(.."that's all they ever think of........now...what can I do for you officer".......as Mandy gets on to her knees)

Here's me, sleeves rolled up, soap box dusted off ready for a good political debate and that horrid little subject of penile envy and how well one uses their pocket trilogy invades the subject quicker than Ken picking up the scent of a 'Newbie'.

I mean, no one trained me how to use my 'gun', I just used me imagination and a well thumbed MAN magazine......... ;) :D

I've said it before, and no doubt will have occasion to say it again, but ...

Talk about praise from the Master! :D

It really does make one proud when one tries so hard and is recognised for their hard effort by arguably the leader in the field.

Thanks Ken I really am not worthy of such high praise, but one day I hope to achieve the lofty realms on inanity that you yourself have achieved............Your my hero :bookworm:
