They grip well, a little noisy, but prorably quieter than the stock rubber. They look ugly though, especially from profile. They wear quite well too. Probably the best of the cheaper tyres.

My 11.1X@125 with a 1.7X 60 footer quarter times say it all ...

They are are a great value tyre and they do wear really well. Smoke up nice! (at the track only of course)

They seem a bit slippery when cold but then again trying to feed 1200+ nm through any cold tyre would be a challenge.

I would definitely use them again.

I was looking for these tyres over the past couple of weeks and was informed that they are now discontinued ended up getting simutomo zIII which seem awesome so far.

They did very well in a Wheels (Motor?) tyre shoot out a few years back, won the test and were good in the wet and dry.

Have a look at the Goodyear excellence tyres too, great tyre and not too dear. I haave 225/40 18 on my Golf and they go 55000km, but still grip well and pretty quiet compared to some I've used like Yokohama.

I have got them all 4 corners now, they grip better than the standard rubber, both wet and dry. Half the cost per corner and a better tyre IMHO, but can't comment on wear yet. Have a great rim protector too.
