I do, I export to the US and its costing me plenty at the moment. Still Krud and Swanns economic free money madness should begin to catch up soon. That will be interesting, a pack of lies about a recovery, an eroding Aus dollar amid a few interest rate rises.

Re the Connick Jnr thing, don't really give a toss but I'm with Erko. Love him, hate him, or don't care about him he does have his career in the US to think about. The Yank media would have jumped at the chance to push the opinion that Harry was happy to be involved in a slandering of Michael Jackson, and/or coloured people in general, and then the media here would have jumped on it in an even bigger waste of time drama than what they created.

It doesn't relate to this but one of the funniest things I saw as a kid was when our then ABC Darwin weather man, Monte Dwyer, painted his face black and sung the weather to the tune of "Don't worry be happy". This was in the 80's. He got into a bit of strife but it didn't stop him from becoming the Channel 9 weatherman in Sydney.

I've looked for the footage but can't find it on the net.

On topic - I think Harry was just worried about how he would look in America if he didn't say anything. This has been great publicity for him in America.

I would suggest though if he hadn't said anything there would be NO impact on his career because nobody over there would have even heard about it
