I have never had just plain rub marks from the car bra itself as they are felt backed and if instructions are followed they fit like a glove so I would quess that those that have had rub marks didn't fit them correctly?They aren't the best looking on some cars but they look ok our falcons.I only use mine when travelling on holidays etc so looks aren't a biggy but stone chips are. I had one on my ute and used on long trips trvelling back to sydney from the mines and never had one stone chip and saved bugs all over the car.. like BJC said make sure the car is clean and the felt on the back of the car-bra before you put it on and it wont rub..
