August 18, 200917 yr #11 Author Just in case I needed to make a warranty claim on something like the stereo and have Ford knock me back on ilegal modifications. I could imagaine "Nah the stereo wasnt designed for that suspension modification so you'll have to pay to get it fixed'.I.B. Edited August 18, 200917 yr by Iconic Bionic

August 28, 200917 yr #13 Author According to Whiteline the way it has snapped is not possible? If I wasnt driving it when it happened I would have agreed with them. They said they can tell that it hasnt been in a prang but cant work out how it snapped.I.B.
August 28, 200917 yr #14 Does seem very strange that the bar snapped Daz, usually its the links that go first! Hope it gets sorted for ya

They are (or maybe were?) on my shopping list.IMO, if whiteline think it's impossible and not from a crash, then they should just swap you for a new one so they can work out WTF happened. I would like to see them confirm that it's a one off ....ws
August 28, 200917 yr #16 hopefully you can get some news as to cause! I'm just about to get some whitelines!
August 29, 200917 yr #17 Jeeze mate!I've got the 27mm front one's on order... hope this was only a one off for these bars.
August 30, 200917 yr #19 Author Mine is likely to be a rare occurance, so dont be deterred. It served me well for 3 years. I still rate them as the best bang for buck available for our cars. Inexpensive and make a lot of difference. And no news, there words have been political in order to protect there reputation. All they say is 'A warranty claim is being assessed". I only ask that they replace it though I dont expect them to after 3 years.I.B.
August 30, 200917 yr #20 I'm no metalurgist, hell - I can't even spell it, but I guess any manufacturing process involving steel will create a chance of failure due to stress fractures, fatigue, etc and this sway bar may have been one of those rare occurrences. You would think Whiteline would have a look at it, determine that no one has taken to it with a sledge hammer or blow torch to cause the failure and hand a new one over and write it off as 'one of those things'. To delay such a simple decision doesn't really look too good for them.
