Boost Gauge Problem...

Yeah if you constantly off throttle... I think it goes to -30 or something for Vacuumm, any who.

Spoke with the supplier and he thinks it is the sender (which makes sense), so he is going to send me another one

-hardcore I'll let ya know if it works because replacing a sender is alot cheaper than replacing the whole gauge etc, you may be able to do the same.

If these gauges are cheap and nasty, then what do you recomend for a good quality gauge Zap?

Thanks mate let us know how you go, I used filter on mine the whole time. Sender would make sense cos it was doing weird things before it totally stuffed up

Also had a look at my gauge today, ~20 in.Hg at idle is what it should read.

spot on for both accounts cant go wrong with a good brand gauge autometre all the way

my auto gauge oil pressure guage is stuffed aswell just flickers between like 1-2 bar all the time no matter what the engine is doing. They are just a cheap guage so what can u expect lasted bout a year

I was trying to find a solution to the problem, not hear how cheap and nasty my gauges are etc etc.

And the 'I'm with stupid' - winstor yes at idle you should get a vacuumm reading, well done the problem (if you read) was that the gauge was constantly

reading a vacuumm, whilst driving etc.

In case anyone is interested I got a new sender and it fixed the problem. Alot cheaper than getting 3 new gauges!
