clock wise could be ok. A stop off at the curtain fig would be a 5 min detour if you wanted a few piccies. Cheeky beer at the marina at port douglas on the way home.

  • The bunnings is at the bottom of the kuranda range. The route doesn't go up that range but goes up the gillies range which is near gordanvale.

Two things:

1. I am certainly in for the cruise guys, it will be great to go for a good run, as it has been a while since I have been for a decent spin

2. Cape York or SVS for a service? I don't know much about either but have seen that the Cape York guys seem to be pretty reliable with their engines...

Cheers

anyone in townsville be keen for a cruise this weekend??

#565

I'd love to come on this cruise but the engine is in sydney and will probably leave friday. Get here wednesday or late tuesday arvo hopefully. Really can't see it running by saturday, but if it is then it will need a retune so I guess I'm out for this one.

Ace- if you could start a new one that would be good, thanks.

G'day,

Thanks for the information, the car is going in to Cape York tomorrow for a service, and hopefully should come out running a little more cleanly, ready for the weekend...

A 30mm adjustable swaybar is going in the front end on Thursday too, so that should hopefully give her a little more compliance through some of those corners...

#568

I'd be doing the rar sway bar too - or at the very least the rear sway bar bushes. sway bars have to be one of the best bang for buck mods on these cars.

+1 for servicing at cape york. get ya fuel filter done, the fuel we get up here seems to clog up filters real quick

#569

Yeah don't worry about that, the rear sway bar is coming, it is a matter of getting it first though...

Thanks for the heads up on the fuel filter too, it was a pretty comprehensive service so I am sure they would have checked everything over. They were pretty surprised about the fact that you guys had mentioned them on here, and of course they weren't too aware of the fact there even was a forums site...
