Ba Traction Control

I have a BA 04 T and the traction control seems to have a mind of its own, even with the button turned off if it feels the slightest bit of wheelspin it comes on automatically and ruins the fun :pinch: . I have tried taking out the ABS fuse but that lead me in all sorts of troubles like the speedo not working and a million lights coming up on the dash. Anyone know how to get rid of the traction control???

When you say it's turned off, you've held the button in long enough for the light to illuminate (and stay on) on your dash, yes?

hahaha

when it's lit up, it's off.

when you see nothing on the dash, it's on.

hit the button and light it up right after you start the car, and you'll be fine. no traction control.
