What is a good price for a process west stage 2 intercooler kit installed at a shop?

I was quoted 1650.

mate if you think it is a bit dear maybe give a few other tuners a call and compare prices. Try elite, bps, hi torque, (that's all I can think of in brissie) but just remember cheapest is not always best. Make sure whoever you get to do the work has done a fair few before otherwise you could end up with a botched job :thumbsup:

also would probably be best to go with the tuner you are gonna use to tune the car - if you are happy with their tuning then you will probably be happy with the workmanship

what model pw cooler? allow around 200 to fit one, the pw stage 1 is 980 stage 2 is just inder 1200 I think

yea about the 200 mark, that's what rap1d charges to fit his, its basically the same process

yes but remember rapid is doing it as part of the sale of the cooler , some one else fitting it for you isn't making anything on the cooler so will charge more,

If they are charging or quoting you around 3hrs labour that would be fair , if they do a good job

$1650 is ludacris to fit a cooler!

If you got quoted that to fit and then custom tune, maybe.

$200 will buy you around 3 hours in a workshop, most cooler kits would take a lot longer to fit than 3 hours.

depends if it involves battery swapping etc I suppose

I swapped out my monza for a PW stg 1 with UBP in less than 2 hrs without help , and that was only the 3rd one I had done
