Ebay Mod Chip, What Do You Think

hey guys, im looking at getting a power mod chip of ebay, you know the ones that just plug and play. What I was wondering, has anyone had any experiences with these and what do you think, I have been told by a work collegue that in his mates evo 2, it made a hell of a lot of difference. I thought I would ask before I comited to buying, it does only cost about 20 dollars though.

Better off getting one of those electric superchargers

they can make a small diiference but can do damage to your car too , all they are is a risitor that short circuts your your air temp meter and fools the car into thinking it's getting nice cool air all the time ,which will let it run higher timing and more fuel , so who knows what sort of damage it would do to the motor an a hot day

lol for 20 bux it probly just tricks the oxy sensor or afm to punch a bit more fuel in. haha go to jaycar an get a varible resistor if your goin to bother with that sh*t lol, waste of cash an not to mention dodgy..
