hi all.

the work I am having done to my fg xr6t ute is as follows;

just wondering if this is good to get done first up. or if there are better things to do off the bat.

also if price is ok. its being done by jim at APC in newcastle st perth.

3.5" stainless dump pipe (is this a Bov? will it make that noise. not really a fan of it)

high flow race cat 4"

SCT Performance custom tune box

Dyno tune.

CAI

all up for those mods is $2,957. not sure of output by the end.

thanks peeps

Should be a nice car once its done mate.

Have a read through the technical forums and you'll be able to get an idea of what others are getting.

The dump pipe is part of the exhaust, it is not a Blow Off Valve

your car does actually have a BOV standard, but it is what is called a Plumb Back system. The factory (and legal) set-up takes excess air from the inlet tract - once the throttle closes - and returns it to the air intake. THis in theory improves turbo spool up and reduces noise emissions. The factory one is made of plastic, so its longevity can be shorter, you can get cnc made direct replacements that are more efficient but work the same way

If you're playing with exhaust parts you might want to throw injectors and look at a fuel pump as well.

Once the exhaust is freed up you'll start to lean it out pretty quick with standard injectors.
